One day, a wicked sorcerer named Sumamuru threatened to take over the Mali Empire. Naturally, Sundiata and his people were scared. But Sundiata was determined to protect his people.
He gathered an army of loyal warriors and marched off to battle. Sundiata fought bravely and with honor. He defeated Sumamuru and restored peace to the Mali Empire.
As a reward for his bravery and courage, Sundiata was crowned king. He reigned over his people with great wisdom and love. He was known as the Lion King of Mali.
