Omah as a kid, believed he could become all things.
He saw himself as a beautiful caterpillar who would be a colorful butterfly someday and fly in the skies.
Omah wished he was a whale to roam the sea at will.
He dreamt of being a tugboat so he could pull big ships out of the sea.
Omah wished he were an airplane to fly people away to far and near places.
Omah wished he was an eagle to soar fearlessly in the skies.
He thought about how he could help make life easy and fun for others, but Omah wished he would become all God intended him to be in creation.
And guess what?
Omah’s wishes came true not as a whale, an eagle, or a tugboat but as a lamp placed on a hill that illuminated the path of other travelers along the way and helped make life easy for others as a medical professional.
