No kid wants to stay all day indoors without doing something fun or playing outside. There are so many resources and indoor games that your kids can enjoy all year round to keep them occupied. 

  1. Hide-and-seek: This game can be fun and exciting for your little ones to enjoy indoors. 
  2. Simon says: Simon says he is an excellent game for kids that test quick responses. Whoever decides to be Simon gives the command of the order. Anyone who fails to follow Simon’s instructions with the knowledge that “Simon says” is out of the game. 
  3. Musical chairs: This classic party game is a lively indoor game enjoyed by others. Your kids will have fun playing this indoor game. 
  4. Scavenger hunt: Typically conducted with hidden cues scattered all over the floor or around the house with a creative treasure hidden. 
  5. Uno: This fun indoor game is a family favorite for you and your kids. 
  6. Pictionary: this indoor game is exciting and makes your kids guess a word about the picture you draw on the board. The quicker they get it, the more points you score. The team with the most points wins. It is best when you have terrible drawing skills. 
  7. Duck, Duck, Goose!: This game needs a minimum of 6 players. Kids sit in a circle with one player who stands outside the ring. The goose walks around the process, and each time he touches the next person’s head, he says duck, duck, duck…” and runs around and tries to take the spot of the new goose.

  9. Guessing games: pick your favorite animals or people and play the “who are mine or what is it?” guessing game.
  10. Lego marble maze: create a challenge with the Lego building to keep your kids entertained and focused.
  11. Make popcorn: your kids will love the pop and bang, and the popcorn enjoyed while watching a movie. 
  12. Scissor challenge: practice paper cutting with your kids. Draw dots on paper, and let them cut through the bubbles with your supervision. 
  13. Bake cookies: kids love to help and enjoy doing this with you. 
  14. Pretend play: make a movie or act in a space with your kids to help them learn some basics of creating their film. Then, film it with your phone camera.
