Meet Ola, a 7-year-old girl who loves playing with chalk. She enjoys drawing pictures on the sidewalk and playing games using colorful sticks with her Siblings. Her Siblings, Eberechi, Chukwuma, Nnaemeka, and Angel, are always excited to play with her.

One sunny day, Ola and her siblings decided to play hopscotch. They used different colors of chalk to draw a big hopscotch grid on the sidewalk. Ola went first, hopping on one foot and throwing a small stone to the differently numbered squares. She giggled as she skipped from one court to another. Next, Eberechi, Chukwuma, Nnaemeka, and Angel took turns laughing and cheering each other on.

Next, they played a game of four squares, which involved bouncing a ball from one court to another without letting it touch the ground. They drew four squares on the sidewalk, each one with a different color of chalk. Ola loved this game because it challenged her hand-eye coordination.

After that, they decided to play “Simon Says.” Ola devised fun actions for her friends, such as “Simon says hop- hop on one foot” and “Simon says touch your nose.” They laughed and danced as they followed each other’s actions.

As they played, Ola noticed that many other children in the neighborhood had come out to join them. Some watched from the sidelines, while others brought their chalk and started drawing games on the sidewalk. Ola felt proud of how her love for chalk had brought everyone together.

Eventually, it was time to go home, and Ola hugged the other kids’ goodbye. Then, returning to her house, she felt grateful for the fun day she had shared with her siblings and the joy that chalk had brought her.

Moral of the story: Chalk games may seem like simple fun, but they can bring people together and create lasting memories. It’s essential to find joy in life’s small things and appreciate the moments we share with our friends and loved ones.
