- Pour the cake batter into the prepared baking pan and bake for 35-40 minutes; insert a toothpick in the center of the cake to see if it comes out clean.
- Let the chocolate cake cool completely in the pan.
- Serve the chocolate cake on its own or with your favorite frosting.
