As Elayne approached the rainbow, a voice called, “Welcome, Elayne! I am the Rainbow’s Blessing.” She was surprised to hear a voice and even more surprised to hear it knew her name.
The Rainbow’s Blessing continued, “I can grant you one wish, anything you desire.” Elayne thought momentarily and realized she wanted to be reunited with her family. The Rainbow’s Blessing smiled and said, “Your wish is granted.” Suddenly, a bright light filled the sky, and Elayne stood before her parents. She was filled with joy and hugged them tightly.
The Rainbow’s Blessing then said, “My gift to you is the power of kindness. Share it with others and you will be blessed.”
Elayne thanked the Rainbow’s Blessing for the gift and ran off to tell her story to the villagers. From that day forward, Elayne used her newfound power of kindness to help others in need, and the village flourished.
